About the Owner - Shacarra Arnold - Certified Home Staging Expert
I have been passionate about decor since I was a young child. I can recall being so excited to help my grandmother with a small renovation project when I was 6 years old. I helped her knock down a wall that leads to a family room that my family still enjoys today. I can also recall taking swatches of fabric from my seamstress mother’s cutting station to use as decor for my dollhouse.
In my adult life, I would often time eat lunch at my desk so I could use my entire break to go to a local home decor retailer with a friend. I would rearrange their place settings over and over .The salesperson would often say that I should come work for them. My idea of a good time is visiting model homes, as I truly love to see all of the creativity.
I would change my decor in my home and office quite frequently. My family, friends, and colleagues raved about my designs. Eventually they were asking me to do the same for them.
In the winter of 2007, I moved into a new construction development that consisted of rental and sale properties. The housing market was on the rise and properties were selling fast. My development had sold the model but still had a few rental properties. The property manager offered me a contract to use my home as a model for future tenants. At that moment, I knew I had found my niche!
I decided to get certified in home staging—and the rest is history!
My goal is to surpass each client’s expectation with careful consideration of their specific needs and extraordinary customer service.
